Each session runs Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm and is taught by US Sailing Certified Instructors. Juniors will be instructed in skills ranging from basic sailing to racing skills, and can sail in Sabots, Optimists, Lasers & FJs.

Here's your chance to win one of our four scholarships for Ventura Yacht Club's youth summer sailing camps. Club member Cornel Grier, who wants to encourage more youth to get involved in the sport of sailing, is offering four scholarships for the 2013 summer sessions.
How to enter:
Contestants must write an essay no less than 100 words and no more than 500 words on why they want to win a sailing scholarship at Ventura Yacht Club. Essays must be submitted by email to renee@spectrum2000inc.com. The scholarship essay competition is open to boys and girls, ages 8-16, who are interested in sailing and who are residents of Ventura, Los Angeles or Santa Barbara Counties.
